Akemi Morihiro

Akemi Morihiro is the Managing Director and owner of Hua Hin Japan, a real estate agency established in 2005. She has more than 20 years of experience in the Hua Hin property market and advises international buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants on houses, villas, condominiums, townhouses and land across Hua Hin and the wider Prachuap Khiri Khan area. She works with clients in English and Japanese.

Born in Japan, Akemi began her career in Tokyo as an advertising and marketing executive for multinational companies before moving to Thailand. Corporate work taught her how to read what a client actually needs, present information clearly and hold a deadline, and she brought that discipline into property. Two decades on, she personally handles the agency’s most demanding cases, from Japanese buyers purchasing outside their home country for the first time to retirees weighing a beachfront condominium against a golf course villa.

Her motto is to give international clients a Japanese level of service in Hua Hin. In practice that means replies arrive when promised, paperwork is checked before it reaches the client, property details are given accurately including the inconvenient parts, and nobody is pushed toward a purchase that does not suit them. Akemi handles sales, long-term rentals, holiday homes and investment property, and can arrange hotels, transfers and golf so clients experience an area before committing to it.
